i-DUST 2022
Presentation
The 8th edition of the inter-Disciplinary Underground Science & Technology (i-DUST 2022) international conference took place in the wonderful premises of the University d'Avignon et du Pays de Vaucluse in the centre of Avignon on June 7-10, 2022. i-DUST 2022 welcomed 40 (77% from France). Several topics related to underground science were discussed as astroparticles, biology, geosciences, microelectronics and modeling. 22 papers including 4 invited talks, 18 publications were presented at the conference. 5 extended papers were reviewed and accepted for publication in E3S Web of Conferences. They are all accessible in open access from this page. For this i-DUST edition, all talks from the different topics were mixed within each session to facilitate the interactions associated to inter-disciplinary science, which was much appreciated by attendees. Next i-DUST 2024 conference is planned on spring 2024, either in Avignon or in another town around LSBB, may be Cadarache or Aix-En-Provence. We are looking forward for your contribution and attendance.

i-DUST 2012
Presentation
The 4th edition of the inter-Disciplinary Underground Science & Technology (i-DUST 2012) international conference took place in the Vélo-Théâtre of the Apt city in Provence, France from 9 to 11 May 2012. Topics related to underground science with five sessions and more than 30 talks were discussed: "Interdisciplinary Research Programs", "Reserves and Resources: Reserves’ petrophysics", "Reserves and resources: Fluids storage, transfer and dynamic", "Interactions with the medium: radiative environments" and "Interactions with the medium: magnetic environmentsl". Invited talks about topics ranging from carbonate reservoir geophysics, to Earth science application, to low-noise issues on system reliability provided an introduction to Science Underground for those new to the field, as well as introducing advanced concepts and emerging issues for those experienced in the field. They were a unique opportunity for IDUST attendees to benefit from the expertise of the instructors, as well as the in-depth coverage and application-oriented perspective provided by the short course format.
IDUST 2012 was chaired by Matthew Yedlin, University of British Columbia, Canada.
The general organization was managed by Christophe Sudre, LSBB.
